help with irealsms for ipod 2g

Can anybody tell me if irealsms works on the ipod it use to now i cant send text just wanted to know if i am wasting my time or if i need another app

Uh no because iPod doesn't have any cell phone service. Your gonna have to find some kinda app that allows you to send SMS via the internet, although I don't know HOW you would receive messages from people seeing as how they wouldn't have a phone number to send them to.

ok thanks i use to be able to text but maybe it was a different app i was using

maybe irealsms had some payasyougo type of credits back in the day,
i know bitesms did
but if not, it never worked on an ipod
