Cydia giving PSOIX error - request times out

Hi Guys, I have jailbroken FW 4.1 on iphone 3G. My wifi works perfectly on all other applications but Cydia is unable to download any package it give me PSOIX erros or host unreachable. I installed all sources, and tried everything but nothing working out. Please help me.

Had the same problem recently when I tried to install more than one package at a time.

I found that if I cancelled the total download and did one of the updates/apps at a time it worked.

If this doesn't then reinstall an older version of cydia that's more compatible with a 3G. There is a thread in the forum that has both versions for this problem.

I had to do this as well and now I have no issues as such.

I am downloading just one package at a time but nothing is fixing up.
do you recommend any compatible version of Cydia with FW 4.1 on 3G.
I am confused when i use cydia my home its unable to download files but when I use outside it runs like a wild horse.

having the same problem... i already opened a thread "Host unreachable in wifi" .... don t know what happened... some of my friends having the same prob...

Wifi issues may relate to reception points or damper zones. outside is just better sometimes.

try the above versions and see which is better.
