It would take much more effort. There would be down time, loading issues, then I'd have to deal with a bunch of other bullshit.

This way requires no loading, cost, no down time for the home page, etc.
If I would make a website, there would be either a donation banner on the page, advertisements, etc to keep it running...

But I like to keep my releases to the point, not use those share links to gain profit off people. Makes me more respectable

Though websites are not ran free, So if I had to I would have to advertise on the site if it got big. Though this way is a cheap and better alternative.

Thanks, but no thanks.
I would like to have my own host, and website had it been hosted.
This way I could keep an eye on things, and make sure it is good to the iPhone community, with no catches, etc.

Very very Cool. You should also try and find a troll bridge answer link if Appulous is going to be there.

Technically all you need now is: Install0us + The Crack Store.
Also, I will look into the troll bridge thing.

I don't have the troll bridge anymore, that's why I can never help people with it.

Of course you can use it off your computer, its a web document.
Any .html or .php will open in your web browser and work. Though if you move images, or take index.html and put it on your desktop away from the other folders it belongs to, then it won't work right, and the images won't appear. So keep the index.html in the crackstore folder, with the images, and other files.

I use them as a paid hosting service haven't been on their free hosting since the week after I signed up with them. I have a TB of bandwidth which would be more than enough to host this 100kb file set. The page would have to be accessed 85 million times to even get close to my bandwidth limits. In the 3 yrs ive been using their service I have only been down maybe 2-3 times for very short periods of time [few hours at most].

Oh, Why don't you set up a self 404 page then?
How much do they cost?

I still don't want the site hosted, unless I'm hosting it.

well I got in before they where annual but it cost me around 70 bucks for everything.
I used to have a custom 404 but I got hacked and was too lazy to jack with my .htaccess file, maybe I will go in and edit but I doubt ill find the inspiration.

Am I supposed to extract the file first? I guess i would cause then its not a folder. I followed all the steps but don't have it. After i extracted the file i went to root>var>mobile and placed it there. I don't get the home screen.

yes you have to extract, the only difference between the first version and the updated was he moved his name to the bottom and put a © on the bottom.

Wrong site to put up anything with a ©

should have it if you installed it correctly and followed the steps correctly.
