 RedSnow Freezes at waiting for reboot!

RedSnow Freezes at waiting for reboot!

hello all!
i have been having alot of trouble with jailbreaking a iphone 3gs!
Redsnow freezes, greenpoision tells me its not in dfu mode. and every time after i try a jailbreak it takes for ever for the iphone to turn back on! iv tryed everything and looked every where for answers, some say put redsnow in admin and compatibility mode that doesn't work at all, iv been trying and surching for answers for days now with no help what so ever ! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP MEEE IM GOING INSANE

thanks for the reply but this didnt work still. still freezes at waiting for reboot with a blank iphone screen. i have done a few jailbreaks b4 and this is the first time i had this problem and its extremely frustrating because i have no clue where to start i have a feeling that it dose not go into dfu mode at all because greenpoision wont work ither says to try agian after the dfu procedure please help if anyone knows anything!

What version of fw u r tying to jb ,version of redsn0w ,version of itunes info please

As applehacker said rc16 is for FW 4.3.3 and shouldn't be using for 4.2.1. Use what's recommended above. Good luck.

green poison tells me that its not in dfu mode when im sure that it is. the phone is in perfect condition as well so this is a tuff one.

Just by choosing restore doesn't really means you will be back on 4.2.1! Hope you know what you are doing otherwise you'll endup with 4.3.3! Be careful!!!

itunes tells me 4.2 and im going into dfu by holding the power and home then release the power blah blah that way tho.

If no and no then you cannot restore to the same firmware ever. If you choose to restore and point it to 4.2.1 it will NOT let you restore at all. You can only upgrade but that is up to you. No one can force you to do that unless your phone if fu*k!!! Then this will be your last resort.

this is insane i never had this problem. the only firmware under itunes is 4.2.1 and im still so lost that my head hurts!

I'm sorry mate but this fact I'm telling you. If you have never saved your shsh blob then you cannot trick iTunes to sign the old firmware.

When you saved yor shsh blob, cydia server has a copy of that which iTunes access when restoring to a firmware that apple has stop signing when they release new ones. Hope this is clear mate. Good luck.
