PLEASE I NEED HELP!

Hello everybody!! Here's my dilemma yesterday I managed to have my Iphone 3gs 16 replaced directly from Apple Store and of course I restore everything before I give them my old phone. Now my problem is that the new phone that they give won't charge properly, I dont know if im just being paranoid or what. I already jailbroked my phone but this time ican do a restore cause the phone is not charging properly. I was reading this forum about similar issue. They even have a voodoo trick (They call it) to flip the mute 4 times then press power an d home button, It seems like its not working on this phone.

Is apple trying to trap me and probbaly they have a code or combination ofswtiches to the on the iphone so the battery will work properly so they will see if my phone is jailbroken or not so they can void my warranty. Does anyone here have a solution for the iphone not charging. THANK you in advance and Merry Christmas to all.

It is probaly a bent pin in the bottom of the phone look in the bottom of the phone with a flash light and try to bend it back use a tooth pick and be carefull

Check if iTunes detects it. If it is detected, but is not charging, then try what otisrhw said.

Pins not bent and Itunes not recognizing it.. I even tried DFU mode. It wont work either..

The image that i get right now is the Battery and a lightning image on my iphone. i'ts been like that all day

OMG!! almost got by APPLE.. I scheduled an appointment to go to APPLE to have my phone replaced again. But before that i serach and search for ways to fix it before going to Apple because i never had the chance to restore it and my iphone is jailbreak. So while wiaitng atthe appl store i was playing with one of the advice that i have found (switch mute up and down 4 times and and press alot of combination) I managed to have the apple logo pop but only gave me 5% of battery, again dont have a chance to restore it again. I THINK THAT WAS TRAP.. i really need to restore this iphone before i send it tomorrow I REALLY NEED YOUR ADVICE HOW TO FIX IT THNK YOU GUYS
