Can someone help prove to my dad that jailbreaking is Good!?
Hey I need to prove that jailbreaking is good and not infact destroying your phone, voiding warranty.
thats all my dad thinks about it!
So does it void warranty? because you can hide the evidence through a DFU restore? right?
and it doesnt destroy your phone simply improves with awesome cool software!?
And also if I dropped my phone and it cracked/ smash etc and it was jailbroken, would I still get a replacement?

No it doesn't void the warranty you can simply do a fresh restore and Apple won't even know 
If you cracked your screen as long as iTunes can see it you can simply restore!
Take this from me, I have been jailbreaking for AGES, it hardly ever destroys your device and there is ALWAYS a way around an error even when your phone is stuck on the Apple Logo by going into DFU mode

haha i jailbroken my ipod 2G but got an iPhone 4. And stupid Orange (My Carrier.) convinced my dad that jailbreaking was bad and voids warranty and they wouldnt replace it... funny thing is, when my dads iphone 3gs had problems the sent him to apple saying they can't do a thing because its an iphone. :/ me thinks they have no clue what they talk about...

oh and also, im on 4.3 not 4.3.3 is it possible to update to 4.3.3 now because 4.3.4 just came out.

Download 4.3.3, then press shift + restore and chose the firmware you just downloaded

The question should be "why not to jailbreak" I'm not sure how old you are, but you might wanna let pops know that there is slot of money involved in the digital revolution. And when you don't keep up with the times, you get left behind. Wo knows, you might start developing apps for the phone. Or start building HTML code for springboards and lock screens, for themes. Not to also say jawbreaking allows you to customize your device. What about when you and dad go out of town and you want to tether your today's connection without getting charged for it. Being that it is your phone, but he probably pays the bill, my biggest thing would be the amount of apps and games I could get for free only once jailbroken. Then you don't have to bother him every other day to get you that cool game or tweak from the app store. A most all service providers are going to tell you not to, cause they just want your money. Welcome to the real world. It's all about marketing and shady business

At the end of the day you jailbreak your phone to FREE it!
End apples restrictions so you can install themes, free apps and games, change your ring and text tones and so much more.
Plus you can install tomtom, which will keep you safe when your out and about and save £50 hurrah!

how do you know that? maybe he's cheap or maybe they're financial situation isn't that good and wouldn't mind some free apps. i know you might say then they shouldn't have gotten an expensive phone. but that's not up to us to decide.

What a weird question @ all !
Do you think in the meantime that the jailbreakscene is up, wouldnt people had notuiced that since they are began to jailbreak that their already owned and broken idevices are related to the jailbreak ?
Do you think were all running arround with broken Apple devices and didnt noticed it yet after 3-4 years or something ?
