TinyUmbrella cannot detect iphone iphone 4
Hi guys, i tried on 2 computer and 2 different iphone. one running xp the other windows 7.. when i plug in my iphone and open TinyUmbrella my device is not listed on left side.. even i tried launching as administrator on windows 7.. any idea how to fix that??

TinyUmbrella couldn't find iTunesMobileDevice.dll or its dependent libraries in this "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\" directory.

Can your iTunes detects your iPhone? Is there a windows service "Apple Mobile Device" in your services? Can you stop/start or restart this "Apple Mobile Device" service?

Try creating a new user account with no special/weird characters as your logon name. Read this thread Tiny umbrella Not working **FIXED** - SiNfuL iPhone for further info to diagnose your problem.

Can you attempt a search for this iTunesMobileDevice.dll in your C:\ drive? Is it in the same directory as required?

Follow this given method http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925 or Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7 to uninstall iTunes properly and then install the latest iTunes again.

Disables both your antivirus and firewall during iTunes installation, and before you use TinyUmbrella.

How about reinstalling latest Java runtime or download the latest TinyUmbrella?

I have the same problem, TinyUmbrella on my Windows 7 cannot detect my iPad 2 Wifi + 3G (iOS 5.0.1) Btw, it's my first time using it, just got my iPad 2 recently.

1) Used the latest version of TinyUmbrella v5.10.06
2) Latest Java Runtime. (Version 6 Update 30)
3) Running as administrator and on compatibility mode with Windows Service Pack 3
4) Unchecked "Request SHSH from Cydia" and "Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit"
5) Yes, iTunes can detect my iPad 2.

Friend , Try this since I just get from my friend and this fixed my system also : search file for SQLite3.dll ( Apple owner ) and then copy/paste this file in to the same TU sub folder. This should help you fixed.

this was awesome, hours spent surfing the web and this fix worked
i have windows xp and the file was located c:\Program files\Common files\Apple\Apple application support\
right clicked .. copy and pasted into same folder as tinyumbrella

I couldn't make tu see my iphone for a year. After copying the dll to the same folder tada! iPhone detected and all good!
