When 5.16.05 will be unlockable?

I recently stuck with an issue. I have iPhone 3GS with 5.0.1 F/W and 5.16.05 BB.
I learnt from various places that BB 5.16.05 is not unlockable as of now. I wonder if somehow I can get tentative dates when unlocker for 5.16.05 BB wil be released.

I am not sure anyone even working on it not been unlock for ages that is why many have flashed with the ipad baseband. So I would say don't hold your breath

There is an offset chance that Gevey can do it (but you would need to modify a converter from microSIM to normal SIM). It would be a PITA but might (no promises) work.

Well buddy that is sumthing that was prlmised. That first we upgrade to ipad baseband and then downgrade it via some TOOL to 5.13.04. I dont think tge dev team was sincere wen they promised that
