Will if you update your iPhone into iOS 5.0.1 you can experience the network dropping etc.. unless if you are using micro sim w/ 128k

use your own SIM card to activate, make sure your phone off then put your SIM in then power on and active

I was going to buy the Nexus but decided not to because of too many problems with the new OS and the 5mp camera and because of a numerous of other things that would affect me, So I purchased the iphone 4S and expect delivery next week and was wondering if it'll come with 5.0 ? Has there been any reporting of it coming with a update ?

I have a feeling that they may be waiting for 5.1 to release a jailbreak. And since 5.1 is going to have some new siri functionality I would rather wait alittle longer and get all the fun stuff than have them release a 5.0/5.01 jailbreak and watch apple patch it in the final 5.1

Pod2g has already announced that the bugs he found are not closed on 5.0.1. In fact 5.0.1 is his next step. I would imagine the untethered iOS 5 jailbreak release from pod2g will be dual 5.0 and 5.0.1 support. Save your shsh blobs with tinyumbrella now because we can expect the predictable cat and mouse tactic from apple with a 5.0.2 or 5.1 update after the exploits pod2g is utilizing go public.

You have to remember, though, pod2g isn't even testing the 4S or iPad2, so his jailbreaks (if he even releases anything) will be useless to us.
