Fake "Find My iPhone" location

is there a cydia app that can do this? I don't want to go into details why i need this, but is there a way?

LocationHolic doesn't work so i don't think location spoofer or fakelocation will work either since they only fake apps.

When you use one of those apps it shows you in that place on google maps, but when you use "Find My iPhone" it still shows your actual postion.

Is there any cydia app that can fake the "Find my iPhone" location?

Thanks

Why don't you just turn the feature off?

if they try to track me and i turn location services off, it says "Location Services Turned Off" in red letters. Besides that, it'll be really obvious something is up if i turn it off.

EDIT: And it isn't my choice to have "Find My iPhone" turned on.

lol clearly this isn't your device. If so, then you shouldn't have a problem restoring it. Once you do that, just log into your iCloud and then won't be able to track the device since it's not logged into the same iCloud as the person who it originally belongs to XD Hope i made sense there

it's my iPhone. I'm trying to fake my location so my parents cant stalk me. They don't need to know where i am all the time, but they'll know somethings up if i disable the feature or if i turn off location services.

Does anyone know a way i can do this?

Here's another idea lol, but this assumes your parents are technologically retarded... and that you're behind a WiFi router. You can block icloud.com... if you don't know how to block sites then google ur router and look at the FAQs or instruction manual on the manufacturer's website. if ur parent's ask u wtf is up and why icloud isn't working, just shrug ur shoulders and say idk ... must be down or something

Because then they will know it's off. I need a way so it looks like its on and just shows me in a different place. Hopefully there is something that can do this.

And if I blocked the site from the router it wouldn't do much good because they could still track me via the find my iPhone app. Thanks though

Honestly because of the purpose of this app I think there might not be much of a way
Best option may be to talk to your parents

Granted they shouldn't be tracking you but if you need to hide where you are going odds are they have all right to track you

I think the burning question here is, what did you do that your parents now stalk you?

Honestly guys. I'm pretty curious myself, I'll admit. But we really shouldn't be asking personal questions like this. This isn't a social-networking forum, it's a forum about iDevices in general and his question was simply about whether he could fake his location or not. As far as this thread goes, we can't help. So leave it at that...

I agree, but I figured I'd ask. I'm bored and could use some good reading material.

They just know i don't go where i say i'm going all the time.

But honestly, is this app so complicated there is nothing to do? How does it track you differently from other apps that you can use fakelocation, etc to fake?

It's because it's Apple's app. There's all sorts of tricks it does that other programs couldn't do if they wanted to simply because Apple has access to modifying the system (much like a Cydia app) to their whim. FindmyiPhone specifically is an iOS level function and is much harder to fake out then a normal iOS app which is limited to using the regular "location services" toolbox given to iOS app developers.

Hope this makes sense. I've been toying around with a hack for this for a while, but I'm not quite sure it's possible without an extensive rewrite of too many things to make it worth it (at least at my current level of interest)

I don't understand.... Isn't there a "fake location" app in cydia to address this exact problem? Doesn't that app allow you to spoof your location so that when people are looking for you it shows you somewhere else? Also how old are you that your parents are "Stalking" you? SMH...

---------- EDIT ----------

Can't you just tell your wife that you owe some guy money. He used to be your friend, so he had your info, but now you don't want him tracking you down, so you are disabling that feature? Then if that doesn't work, can't you just smack her and tell her to stfu and stop stalking you?

You're a fucking idiot dude. Seriously.

1. Re-read the thread. Plenty of tweaks will mess with Location Services but they will not spoof the location for a dedicated iOS feature.
2. Mind your own fucking business about the kid and his parents. You sound like a gossipy teenage girl.
3. "Smack her and tell her to STFU"??? Really?
You are either a virgin or a woman-hating closet homosexual or both.
4. GTFO.

i remember reading locationholic being able to spoof the find my iphone location before it was updated. that is why it was updated because it was worrying people that the FMI app was being spoofed also. but i can't verify this myself as i hadn't been using it at the time.

have a go at sourcing the old .deb for the previous version it might do the trick if you can find a copy.
if I helped you find something or I posted something that was/is useful hit the button.

Device(s);

iPhone 5 GSM factory unlocked running iOs 6.0.1 jailbroken of course! via evasi0n
