Apple Releases iTunes 10.5.3 With Support for iBooks Textbooks[Jailbreak Safe] |

Following iBooks 2.0, iBooks Author and iTunes U for iOS, Apple just released a new version of iTunes, 10.5.3. We’re downloading the update to get our hands on a proper changelog but it’s likely that this new version will simply bring support for textbooks and, perhaps, manual syncing of books created through iBooks Author.
Update: iTunes 10.5.3 does indeed enable textbook syncing to iPads.

iOS 5.1 Patches Corona Untethered Jailbreak! Get on iOS 5.0.1 while you can! |

Well can't say I didn't see this coming but yes it's been confirmed that iOS 5.1 beta 3 closes the exploit for the Corona untethered jailbreak. iOS 5.1 is currently in beta, but will be released to the public very soon.
If you want an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5, then we recommend that you stay on iOS 5.0.1, or you CONSIDER updating to iOS 5.0.1 if you have not already done so. Since iOS 5.1 closes the exploits used in iOS 5.0.1 with the Corona untether, more exploits will need to be found to jailbreak iOS 5.1 untethered. A4 devices will likely have a tethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1 at least because of the fact that A4 devices have a bootrom exploit. A5 devices on the other hand won't be so lucky. TinyUmbrella just got a small bugfix (hopefully I didn't introduce even more bugs in this old codebase). There was a nasty UI locking issue when you clicked 'Save SHSH'. I've partially fixed it. But now there's flicker in the saved shshs window.
iPhone 4s 9A406 - Preemptive Support
Although we cannot exploit/restore iPhone 4S SHSHs we still should save them just in case. I've just updated TU to support iPhone 4S 5.0.1b "9A406".

SiNfuL iPhone Repo is Back Online! |

As most of you may know, I setup a TEMPORARY SiNfuL iPhone Repo the other day due to the excessive load on the main repo from the current jailbreak release causing it to bog down super bad.
In any case I have gotten the other server back online so you can all use the main source address just like before.
MAKE SURE YOU DELETE THE TEMPORARY http://www.sinfulcomputers.com/repo address out of your Cydia sources otherwise you'll keep getting source errors due to the fact that I have taken the temporary repo down.
I have added some new packages that came out while the repo was down as well.
